What to See and Do
Go On a Little Adventure…
The local waterpark is one of the three biggest in Europe, and the lengthy beach is able to offer an array of facilities including banana boat rides. Scuba diving and snorkelling are popular activities at Kalithea bay, whilst Rhodes’ Old Town is home to a wide range of stunning buildings like the Grand Master’s Palace with its marbled floors. If the hard partying gets too much for you, why not head off to the tranquil, scenic setting of Petaloudes, famous for its butterflies and serenity.
Shopping opportunities are also numerous in not only Rhodes Town but Faliraki too, allowing you to purchase from a number of souvenirs or perhaps engage in a spot of clothes shopping. Some shops keep their doors open until the late hours too, ideal for those preferring to relax during the daytime hours. It should only take around 20 minutes to reach Rhodes Town from Faliraki, and you can travel by car or water taxi. The town is also home to the quaint and warmly-welcoming Street of the Knight, famed for its classic inns.
